Established in 1988 Save The Children India is a non-profit organisation that envisions India as a women and child-friendly nation. The organisation is committed to preventing exploitation and all other forms of discrimination of vulnerable women and children, and empowering them to lead a life of dignity, self-respect, and independence. STCI specialises in working with the most deprived and vulnerable sections of children & women in poor urban, peri-urban and rural communities and has a very strong gender & child protection perspective.
