Kikorongo Women Community (KWC)

KWC is a grassroots organisation led by women in the Western province of Uganda. Formed in 2007, it works to build the capacity of women and girls to advocate for their rights and those of vulnerable people. KWC main strategies include mobilising families and communities for social norms change, promoting livelihood programmes and income generating activities, and raising awareness on sexual and reproductive health and rights.
