KaGPWD was formed in 1995 in Kasese, Uganda to create a platform for people with disabilities to have their voices heard and to uplift their welfare and standards of living. KaGPWD uses a holistic community development approach to ensure that children and youth with disabilities acquire formal education so they can break the cycle of poverty.
