Organisation-Logo-1.png

AWARE UGANDA is a women led organisation formed in 1989 in the Karamoja region of Uganda. It aims to support rural women to build their skills and learn their rights, promote girls' education, and end poverty, violence, and HIV/AIDS. The organisation runs awareness raising sessions on child marriage with community members in displaced populations, and provides counselling and guidance for survivors of gender based violence.
