Presentation: Girls Empowerment Star

Developed by Sarah Hendricks of Plan International, this presentation outlines Plan’s research project “Hear our voices”, which aimed to build a comprehensive picture of the key challenges facing adolescent girls today – in their own words.

It offers background on the study’s research methods and presents two participatory research tools: the Girls’ Empowerment Star and the School Equality Scorecard.

It also summarises the research’s key findings in relation to child marriage and girls’ empowerment.
