Safeguarding Standards for Girls Not Brides members

Girls Not Brides is committed to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for all individuals – especially children, young people and adults at risk – and will seek to ensure that they are protected from all harm when working to end child marriage.

This document lays out eight key safeguarding standards that Girls Not Brides member organisations are asked to uphold in order to ensure that children, young people and adults at risk are safe from harm. All Girls Not Brides members must commit to these standards.
