Ending child marriage in Africa: opening the door for girls’ education, health, and freedom from violence

In this report, Human Rights Watch looks at the factors leading to child marriage in Africa and the dire lifelong consequences linked to the practice.

It suggests a way forward by making clear recommendations to key African stakeholders including: the African Union, Heads of State and Government and Parliaments, National Ministries of Education, National Ministries of Health, as well as National Ministries of Justice and Home Affairs.
