Family assets: understanding and addressing child marriage in Turkana

This report by UNICEF Kenya looks at the issue of child marriage in Turkana county, a pastoralist region in Kenya. It finds that the prestige of traditional marriage across all contexts makes it a deeply embedded practice but one that is an urgent child protection issue which needs to be addressed.
