At the half-way point to the 2030 deadline, the world is severely off track on reaching the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – including Goal 5 on gender equality and Target 5.3 on ending child marriage. But the consequences of not achieving this target reach beyond Goal 5. In fact, unless we make significant progress on child marriage, we will fall short on at least nine of the SDGs.
If you’d like to know more about the SDGs, how child marriage cuts across them and what opportunities there are for accelerated action and advocacy in the lead-up to 2030, then join the next session of our online Learning Series on 26 October!
