Building back equal for adolescent girls

While the COVID-19 crisis presents many challenges, it also provides an opportunity to re-imagine health and education systems so that they are more inclusive, resilient and gender-responsive to ensure adolescent girls are not left behind. We don’t have to return to normal, we can return to “better for girls” .

This Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development virtual side-event shall provide a space for adolescent girls and young women leaders and activists, policy-makers and civil society representatives to share their challenges, needs and experiences in taking action to advance gender equality for adolescent girls across the Sustainable Development Agenda.
