This story was created with Girls Not Brides member organisation, Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum (UYAHF). UYAHF is a youth-led and youth-serving organisation that seeks to advance the health, rights and wellbeing of adolescent girls, young women and young people at community and national levels. They have a particular focus on sexual reproductive health and rights, gender equality, women and girls’ empowerment, and youth livelihoods and operate in over 15 districts in Uganda. They implement activities that address teenage pregnancy, child marriage, post-abortion care, the promotion of positive social norms and behaviours, youth empowerment and capacity building for youth-led organisations, among others.
