This policy brief looks at the incidence and trends of child marriage and adolescent pregnancy in Mozambique.

Despite a gradual decline in rates over the past decade, child marriage is still a widespread problem with long-term consequences for girls and their children.

For change to happen, the policy brief calls for a vigorous response from government, civil society and development partners working at both the national and community level.
