The platform to end child marriage in Niger was created in 2017. It constitutes a sub-committee of the national committee of coordination and consultation on child marriage established under the initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Protection in 2016. The platform aims to facilitate information sharing between civil society organisations and technical partners. This institutional platform enables the Ministry to coordinate actions through a group of technical experts. The platform is coordinated by Save the Children and UNFPA.
