The Plateforme des réseaux et organisations de la société civile pour mettre fin au mariage des enfants en Côte d’Ivoire (POME-CI) launched in 2015. It aims to support interventions in favour of child brides and girls at risk of marriage, and their social reinsertion. It also supports the protection and promotion of girls’ rights through the effective implementation of the law against child marriage. Coordinated by Génération Femme du Troisième Millénaire, the platform is composed of 17 organisations united to end the practice.
