Youth Anti-FGM Network Kenya (YANK)

Established in 2015, YANK is a youth-led network whose members hail from 22 hotspots. Their initial focus was on ending FGM in Kenya, as the harmful practice is associated with physical injuries, emotional stress, complications during childbirth, and early marriage - often halting girls' education. YANK has since broadened its scope to combat child marriage.
