Founded in 2008, Saphara aims to support young people in Northern Ireland and India to realise their unique potential. Saphara's Girl Champions programme empowers marginalised adolescent girls in India with menstrual health knowledge, emotional resilience and rights awareness, motivating them to stay in school, resist child marriage and become leaders in their communities.
