PEN Tanzania is a non-governmental organisation with its headquarters in Dar es Salaam. The organisation aims to empower women, youth and children in the fight against poverty and illiteracy. In 2015, PEN Tanzania initiated a major programme known as SHE Inspire Tanzania, which focuses on building a movement of active, engaged adolescent girls and young women across Tanzania and engaged them in social, economic and political justice work.
