Observatorio de Mortalidad Materna (The Observatory for Maternal Mortality, OMM) is an autonomous and inter-sectorial network based in Chiapas, Mexico, composed of civil society, academia and health institutions. Founded in 2011, its main objective is to contribute to the reduction of maternal mortality. Through the production of strategic information and evidence, OMM aims to influence the design and implementation of public policies that favour maternal health from a rights-based approach.
