Marsabit Women Advocacy and Development Organization (MWADO)

MWADO is a women-led indigenous organisation based in Marsabit County, Kenya. Established in 2003, MWADO works to ensure that no girl is subjected to child marriage or FGM by seeking justice for affected girls and sensitising communities on the effects of both practises. The organisation also offers career guidance, counselling, training and small grants to empower girls.
