Joy for Children was established in 2005 by a group of Ugandan youth who were later joined by other community members to respond to issues faced by local children. Joy for Children works on a wide range of issues including poverty, health, neglect, abuse and exploitation, education, family conflicts, water, sanitation, and housing.
