GIGREE was established in 2017 in Nigeria to build the capacities of girls, women, youth and other stakeholders on issues of education and fundamental human rights. GIGREE also seeks to engender development by promoting girls' and women's empowerment and values to ensure self-reliance, democracy, equality and socio-political economic justice.
