Girls' Power Initiative (GPI) is a feminist non-governmental organisation founded in 1993 to empower young girls in Nigeria to take charge of their lives. GPI's work focuses on the areas of harmful practices, unintended pregnancies, sexual abuse and harassment, violence against girls and women, and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS.
