Concern for the Girl Child was founded in 2001 in Uganda, with the aim of empowering vulnerable girls in the areas of Nakawa Division in Kampala, Nakaseke and Nakasongola Districts. CGC works in partnerships to empower vulnerable girls through education, reproductive health and WASH, economic strengthening of families, child protection, and advocacy.
