Caminante is a women-led, community-based organisation that works to prevent child trafficking and sexual exploitation in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. The organisation has worked in this community since 1994, when they started to support young boys who were involved in the sex tourism industry. Caminante works at the intersection of child trafficking, child marriage and adolescent pregnancy prevention.
