APAD promotes the rights of young mothers and survivors of early and forced marriage in Maroua, Cameroon. It empowers young mothers and survivors of early and forced marriage to share their experiences and support others with lived experience, and also offers them skills-based training. APAD also works to educate communities and traditional leaders on the causes and consequences of child marriage and on the human rights of girls.
