Founded in 2008, AFV is a women-led, locally-focused Nigerien organisation that aims to empower individuals, especially women and young people to exercise their rights fully. AFV is recognised for their expertise in gender equality training for community-based organisations. The organisation works in Zinder, a region with one of the highest rates of child marriage in Niger.
