Foundation for Women in Development-Rwenzori (FOWID-R)

FOWID-R is a women-led organisation whose mission is to enhance the socio-economic status of women and girls in the rural areas of Western Uganda. Established in 2014 in the Kasese district, FOWID-R's thematic areas are reproductive health and rights, human rights promotion, sustainable farming, skills and entrepreneurship development, and environmental health and education.
