State of the World's Girls 2015. The unfinished business of girls' rights

While we have made much progress, gender equality reamins an unfinished business, according to Plan's latest State of the World's Girls report.

In Plan's ninth State of the World's Girls report, 14 prominent contributors assess the progress made for girls’ rights across a variety of areas including education, health and violence against girls.

They conclude that while some progress has been made and girls' issues such as child marriage are firmly on the agenda, there is still a huge amount of work and barriers to be overcome until we can celebrate gender equality.
