Through secondary data analysis, this study looks at child marriage, adolescent pregnancy, as well as girls’ education and the prevailing social norms which constitute barriers to the fulfilment of girls’ rights in Mozambique.

In demonstrating the long-term harmful consequences of child marriage and adolescent pregnancies for girls, this study hopes to inform national policy design to effectively tackle these issues.
