Social media - modern slavery and child marriage

Walk Free is conducting social media listening research to understand how risks of modern slavery are present on social media. This includes forced and child marriages. The purpose of this research is to better understand the role of social media as a place of recruitment, of help-seeking, and of community building. The findings from this research will ultimately inform an advocacy campaign to strengthen online protections for vulnerable people.
