This research is an exploration of young women's experiences of forced marriage in Australia. The research is interested in developing an understanding about the context in which forced marriage occurs and the strategies young people adopt when responding to their own or others' situations. The research seeks to inform considerations regarding law and policy responses to forced marriage.
