"After my garden grows": how gardening keeps girls out of child marriage in India

After My Garden Grows is a new short documentary about Monika, one of 40,000 rural Indian girls participating in the Girls Project, a partnership between the government of West Bengal, India, and Girls Not Brides member Landesa, to empower girls by promoting their access to land.

The documentary shines a light on the struggles of rural girls to avoid early marriage and how a small parcel of land is creating new opportunities for adolescent girls like Monika.
