Noleen Sang-Opondo

Noleen Sang is a development professional who has excelled in putting systems in place to ensure success and delivery of projects on budget and on time. She has worked at both operations and strategic levels. Noleen has over ten years’ experience in program administration and operations with a knack for reducing barriers.
She has previously served as a Management, Administration and Communications Officer at Akiba Uhaki Foundation, the Human Rights and Social Justice Fund working closely with the EAC. She also served at the Centre for Citizens Participation on the African Union (CCPAU) as a Programs Officer closely working with the AU and various regional bodies. Before joining CCPAU, she served as a Human Rights Advisor and Public Relations Officer at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Nairobi. During her tenure at the Embassy she worked closely with UNOCHA and contributed to the work of the committee of permanent representatives to both UNEP and UN-HABITAT.
She holds an MBA and a dual honours degree in Law and Business Administration from Keele University. She speaks fluent English and Swahili and has working knowledge of Spanish. In her free time she enjoys giving back to the community by mentoring and empowering women and girls to thrive and realize their full potential.
