Ramin Shahzamani

Ramin Shahzamani holds degrees in Biological Sciences, Computer Science and Master in Business Administration. He has worked for over 20 years in humanitarian and development sectors focusing on children’s rights, gender equality, poverty alleviation, youth empowerment, sexual and reproductive rights, education, protection and mental health. Ramin has held leadership positions in organisations working in conflict and developing countries in Africa, Asia, America and Europe.
As the CEO of War Child Holland, Ramin led the merger of War Child organisations and the formation of War Child Alliance with the aim of shifting power more equitably and empowering localisation. His drive has been steering organisations to achieve greater impact and scale for the populations they serve through evidence-based programming. He has extensive experience partnering with local, national, regional and international organisations along with public and private partnerships.
Ramin has served on the board of ICVA, the largest global network of humanitarian organisations and is currently working as Transformation Lead for SOS Children’s Villages International.
