Girls Not Brides Ghana became an official Girls Not Brides National Partnership in October 2014, and was launched in December 2014. Girls Not Brides Ghana has over 60 members covering all ten regions of the country.
Girls Not Brides Ghana participated in consultations at the national and regional level, providing expertise in the development of the National Strategic Framework for Ending Child Marriage in Ghana.
It has also developed a partnership with a male youth group in Nadowli district and is working with them to create awareness of child marriage in the district and advocating for the end to this harmful practice.
Girls Not Brides Ghana has a coordinating team of five organisations, which is chaired by Centre for the Development of People (CEDEP).
