May 28, 2020, 12:30 PM (BST)
REGISTRATION: You will need to register in advance on the Webex site here.
A new UK Aid Direct funding round is now open to support small to medium-sized organisations working towards (any of) the Global Goals and especially those tackling the COVID-19 crisis and the impacts in developing countries.
Charities will be able to submit applications for both Community Partnership and Impact grants and the UK Aid Direct team will be hosting a guidance webinar (see date and registration details above).
Additional guidance is also available on the UK Aid Direct website.
The first stage of the application process is the submission of a concept note via the online portal. All eligible applications are assessed by a team of independent reviewers.
The portal will close to concept note applications on Tuesday 30 June 2020.
If your application is successful you will be invited to submit a full application.
The Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) is another UK Aid Direct fund. It is designed to support small UK-registered charities and non-government organisations, with an annual income of less than £250,000, working in international development.
SCCF is a rolling fund opportunity whereby applications are reviewed every six months. The next review date is 24 September 2020. Application guidance is available on the UK Aid Direct website and a recording is also now available to listen to on YouTube, of a guidance webinar which was held last week, for potential applicants of the fund. |
