Making sense of challenges: engaging religious leaders to end child marriage
Earlier this year we welcomed four practitioners to join us and share their experience building powerful partnerships with religious leaders and communities to address child marriage across the world. This month, we will continue this conversation and share findings from new research “What lies beneath? Tackling the roots of religious resistance to ending child marriage”.
Join our webinar on Wednesday 28 November at 13:30 GMT and hear from our panellists as we explore the challenges that activists face to engage with some religious leaders and look at strategies that are used to address these challenges.
We’ll be joined by Dr Elisabet le Roux from the Unit for Religion and Development Research at Stellenbosch University
The webinar will be moderated by Julie Rialet-Cislaghi, Research & Policy Officer at Girls Not Brides
