As Senior Officer for Partnership and Learning, Carlinda works closely with the Girls Not Brides teams in Africa, Asia and Latin America to identify and respond to the learning needs of our National Partnerships and coalitions, including support for peer-to-peer learning and mentoring opportunities. She also oversees our work with National Partnerships across the different regions, and leads the implementation of monitoring, learning and evaluation mechanisms with them.
Carlinda has extensive experience in partnership and knowledge management within civil society organisations and UN agencies. Before joining Girls Not Brides, she worked at UNHCR in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, with a focus on external representation and reporting. Prior to this, she worked with UNDP in Brussels, focusing on knowledge management and capacity building with members of national parliaments worldwide.
Carlinda holds an MA in Political Sciences, an MA in Sociology and a BA in International Relations. She speaks English, Portuguese and French.
